For The 12 Days The Habitat Ogden ReStore Is Open

Ogden, UT (December 10, 2018) — Starting December 7th and ending on December 22nd, the Habitat for Humanity Ogden ReStore will have different deals for the 12 days they are open before Christmas.

Every day will be new deal at the Habitat Ogden ReStore. The schedule will be as dictated below:

December 7th: 10% off doors

December 8th: 20% off dining room tables

December 11th: 30% off lighting

December 12th: 40% off chairs

December 13th: 50% off end tables

December 14th: $10 off when you order a mattress

December 15th: Buy $20 gift certificate for $15

December 18th: 10% off fridges

December 19th: $15 off purchases of $75 or more*

December 20th: $10 off purchases of $50 or more*

December 21st: 20% off plumbing

December 22nd: $5 off purchases $25 or more*

*Cannot be combined with other promotions and/or coupons.

The Habitat Ogden ReStore will also have an Ugly Sweater Day Deal on December 14th. Wear your ugly sweater and receive 10% off your purchase (excluding other discounts, coupons, and promotions).

The Habitat Ogden ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement thrift store independently-owned and operated by affiliate Habitat for Humanity of Weber and Davis Counties. The ReStore is open to the public and encourages anyone to shop, donate, and volunteer. It is located at 3111 Wall Avenue in Ogden, Utah and is open Tuesday thru Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM.

Proceeds from the Ogden ReStore go towards building and repairing more homes in Weber and Davis Counties. Currently, the funds from the ReStore is going towards a single mother with six children and their new Habitat Home in Ogden. Other funds are designated to the A Brush With Kindness program, where Habitat for Humanity repair homes for those living in Weber and Davis Counties. Over the past year in 2018, the affiliate has done over 20 repair projects for families in need.

The Ogden ReStore offers a free pick-up service for those wishing to donate their items to the home improvement thrift store. The general public residing in Weber and Davis Counties can call 801-393-3287 to schedule their appointment. Most pick-up appointments are about 7 to 12 days out from the initial call, so it is important to keep in mind that there will have to be a wait in order for the Ogden ReStore to pick-up the items. For those not wanting to wait for a pick-up, they are able to drop-off their items at the South Side of the building at 3111 Wall Avenue Ogden, Utah. There is a drop-off area on the South side of the Ogden ReStore and is open Tuesday thru Saturday 10 AM to 5:30 PM. If no one is at the drop-off area to immediately greet you, there is a doorbell on the wall that can be rung.

The Ogden ReStore accepts volunteers to help run the home improvement thrift store alongside the managers. Volunteers help with moving merchandise around the store, work alongside the ReStore drivers to pick-up as well as help with drop-off donations. There is no time limit or time commitment for the volunteering activities at the ReStore. The managers require volunteers to fill out a waiver online and to track hours with the volunteer tracking site at https://www.habitatweberdavis.org/volunteers. The Ogden ReStore accepts those needing community service, with some restrictions, and anyone else wanting to volunteer from Tuesday thru Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM.
